The lab is where the thinking still breathes.
Not every idea starts as a paper. Most start on a bench at night with headphones, a notebook, and too much coffee. This is where Biniru shows the unfinished work: the half-formed hypotheses, the session notes, the sparks that may or may not become publishable research.
Bench research, out loud.
Most Biniru research begins as a long bench session — sometimes on a literal bench in Borgerhout, sometimes at the desk with a keyboard in play. The method is simple: follow a pattern until it either resolves into something testable or falls apart honestly. Either outcome is useful. The failed ones still tell you something about how the next one should be framed.
Each session that produces a signal worth keeping gets logged, structured, and cross-checked against existing literature before it becomes a paper.

The lab is where the thinking still breathes. By the time something lands in the papers section, it has been shaped, tested, and pinned down. The lab is the before-part. Het lab is waar het denken nog ademt. Tegen de tijd dat iets in de papers-sectie belandt, is het gevormd, getest en vastgelegd. Het lab is het ervoor-deel. Biniru research policy
From bench to paper.
An item moves out of the lab and into the papers section when three conditions are met:
- The hypothesis is framed in language that could withstand informed pushback.
- There is at least one independent check on the central claim — literature, replication, or orthogonal observation.
- The bilingual (EN + NL) draft pair is finished and internally reviewed.
Nothing gets promoted early because it feels ready. Items that look done but haven't met all three conditions stay here.
